Lind, McDonald rally Blue Jays past Orioles, 10-8 (AP)

Toronto Blue Jays Adam Lind runs to first base on a single against the Baltimore Orioles in the fourth inning of a baseball game Tuesday, July 22, 2008 in Baltimore. Lind had a career-high four hits, including a three-run homer to rally the Blue Jays past the Orioles 10-8.

The day after they hired Cito Gaston to replace fired manager John Gibbons, the Toronto Blue Jays recalled Adam Lind from the minor leagues. Both moves have worked out quite well for the Blue Jays. Lind had a career-high four hits, including a three-run homer, and light-hitting John McDonald had four RBIs to rally Toronto past the Baltimore Orioles 10-8 on Tuesday night.
